Design Experience

Product design & development are my passion. I love the collaboration and strategy behind designing valuable products and experiences that are intuitive and delightful.

Over the years, I've been involved with user experience, customer experience, and interaction design in many ways. In my current role, I'm focused on agile, lean UX design for private market solutions, evangelizing for sophisticated users and complex workflows. Previously, I held roles that involved building GP and investor flows, optimizing property management and resident software, restaurant experiences, school nutrition programs, point of sale interfaces, online shopping comparison tools, recommendation engines, in-store displays, online ordering flows, and instructional & educational content.

I'm an experienced leader that enjoys collaborating with and presenting to teams, customers, colleagues, and executives. I'm also very comfortable wearing different hats (Front End Developer, UX Researcher, Product Manager, Visual Designer, Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, Team Facilitator, etc.). I like being hands on, and get excited to make an impact in any way I can.

Leadership Style

I love empowering teams with feedback, data, tools, and activities to help make strategic decisions and impactful designs. As a UX Designer at heart, I love talking to customers, and enjoy digging into complex challenges, and collaborating on creative solutions or just being a sounding board for ideas. I encourage designers to have the autonomy to find the working styles that align best with their teams.

Using agile software development principles, I promote thoughtful experimentation to fail fast while reducing risk (sometimes without even writing any code), in order to iterate towards the best possible experience.

Having played sports most of my life, I'm a team player and get excited to celebrate our team's successes as well as our failures (and what we've learned). Lastly, while I like to work hard, I also believe in having fun at work, flexibility, work-life balance, and avoiding burnout in order to be our best selves.
